$250,000 reward for information about missing Perth mum

A reward of up to $250,000 is being offered for information about the suspected murder of a young mother who went missing from Perth’s entertainment district in 1998.

Lisa Brown, 19, was last seen alive by her boyfriend in the early hours of November 10 when she walked down Brisbane Street in Northbridge and turned into Palmerston Street.

Cold Case Serious Crime Squad detectives have launched a fresh investigation and believe she was murdered.

A reward of up to $250,000 is being offered for information about the suspected murder of young mother, Lisa Brown, who went missing in 1998

Police Minister Michelle Roberts said Ms Brown had two young children.

‘Her killer remains at large and her family deserve answers,’ Ms Roberts said.

‘Detectives are confident more than one person in the community knows what happened to Lisa but for whatever reason have not spoken up.

‘I urge those people to have some compassion for Ms Brown’s family.’

Ms Brown’s father Terry urged anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers.

‘Obviously people must know something about what happened to Lisa,’ he said.

‘We’ve been waiting 19 years now for answers and really would like some sort of closure.’

Police have set up a mobile facility on Brisbane Street in a bid to find out information from members of the public. 

The facility will be manned by detectives until Friday 8pm, and again on Saturday.
