Amal Clooney puts on a very chic display in ruffled ruby red jumpsuit

She’s showcased the best of her designer wardrobe over the past month, with VIP invites to the likes of the Royal Wedding and her husband’s lifetime achievement award ceremony.

And on Thursday evening Amal Clooney, 40, flaunted another stunning ensemble as she enjoyed the opening of the new Giambattista Valli store on Sloane Street, London.

The Human Rights lawyer wowed in a burgundy jumpsuit as she supported the Roman-born designer, for whom she has previously relied on to dress her for her wedding weekend in Venice.

Amal showed off her svelte figure in the one-shouldered jumpsuit, which featured a statement ruffle on the chest.

The nipped-in waist flowed down to tapered trousers, with Amal adding a pair of shining gold heels.

She carried a coordinating clutch and added glam drop earrings, while her long, dark locks were styled into waves over one shoulder.

Amal posed with the designer inside his new store, having struck up a close friendship with the Italian over the years.

Valli famously designed the white lace floral mini dress Amal was seen in the day after her Venice nuptials to George Clooney in 2014 – the first outfit she stepped out in after the star-studded ceremony.

It’s been a busy month for Amal and her husband, who attended the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on May 19.

And just two weeks ago Amal moved her actor husband to tears when she paid tribute to him as he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute at Hollywood’s Dolby Theater.

As the human rights lawyer took to the stage at the star-studded ceremony, she spoke publicly for the first time about the couple’s one-year-old twins Ella and Alexander — and gushed about the ‘joy’ they give her.

She said of her Oscar winner husband: ‘He is the person who has my complete admiration and also the person whose smile makes me melt every time. My love, what I have found with you is the great love I always hoped existed.

‘And seeing you with our children, Ella and Alexander, is the greatest joy in my life.’

‘You fill our home with laughter and happiness and that’s even before the children have worked out that “da-da” is Batman, a talking fox, and friends with Mary Poppins.’

Her rousing speech came just a day after the twins celebrated their first birthday. During the event, Amal also candidly confessed she had ‘resigned herself to life as a spinster’ before meeting the superstar five years ago.
