Amanda Seyfried glammed up to introduce a surprise performance by her Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again castmate Cher at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Wednesday morning.

The 71-year-old pop diva – who plays Amanda’s onscreen grandmother Ruby Sheridan – performed her new cover of ABBA’s 1976 track Fernando onstage the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

The 32-year-old SAG Award nominee dressed her slim 5ft3in figure in a long-sleeve, silver-sequin cocktail dress and stilettos selected by stylist Elizabeth Stewart.

While backstage at the Nevada film festival, Amanda hung out with Bryce Dallas Howard, who was there to promote Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom with her onscreen leading man Chris Pratt.

The Mean Girls alum’s sighting came a day after she blasted the New York Times’ chief theater critic for being ‘classist’ against her husband Thomas Sadoski’s new play Belleville.

The Pennsylvania-born blonde – who boasts 3.8M social media followers – tweeted: ‘Um, okay, Ben Brantley, but poor people can be smart, too. Don’t be a classist hack.’

At that, the 41-year-old Tony nominee replied: ‘But, my love, if he thought that poor people were worthy of artistic voices expressed artistically he wouldn’t be working for The NY Times.’
