An angry customer has slammed a delivery driver for hiding his bulky parcel in a very obvious place under a black rubber mat at the entrance to the front door.
An image of the package apparently dropped off by delivery company Startrack was uploaded to Reddit by Melbourne user u/llBoonell.
But a number of users who lashed back at the post titled ‘”A discreet location”… solid s***, Startrack. Real nice.’ said the customer was being overly pedantic.

‘WTF do you want them to do? Bring there [sic] own fake pot plants,’ one user commented.
‘I’m with the others – you’re being an a*** here. Expecting them to drop it just behind the fence is unreasonable … They at least made some effort,’ another user wrote.
‘You got the package AND they attempted to follow your instructions. This is better than 99% of people’s experience,’ a comment said.
The Reddit poster defended himself and claimed he wasn’t given the opportunity to give delivery instructions.
‘They made it obvious from the road that there was a parcel on the doorstep,’ the poster wrote.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Startrack for comment.
