Art in World Trade Center subway for 9/11 RIPPED DOWN

An art installation remembering September 11th was recently stolen.

The art was ripped from the walls of the World Trade Center subway station in Manhattan, New York, only a few days after it first went up two weeks ago.

‘It’s really important for the people who can’t go to the museums and stuff. At least they could see it here so it’s important for history,’ said one commuter to PixII.

Chairman of the board of Art Aid, Eric Lustgarten, is still confused about the theft.

‘I’m trying to understand why,’ said chairman of the non profit that spearheaded the project.

‘These were actually museum quality prints,’ he said.

The prints came from the collection of photojournalist Keith de Cesare who lived in Lower Manhattan during 9/11
