But Jade Roper is reveling in the success of her new fitness regimen after revealing a 30-pound weight loss to US Weekly.
The 31-year-old Bachelor in Paradise starlet rocked a tiny blue-and-pink striped bikini on the beach in Florida after admitting some difficulty in getting back into shape after the birth of her daughter Emerson in August.

‘I was gentle on myself for the first 4 months after I had Emerson because I was a new mom and navigating this whole new world, but after that it was really important for me to get my pre-pregnancy body back because I wanted to feel like myself again,’ she admitted.
Jade said she knew she was ‘not ready’ to slip back into trendy two-pieces during a family trip to St. Lucia just five months after giving birth to her baby girl.
As she grabbed her trusty maternity shorts, Jade recalled, ‘That’s when I decided to make a change.
‘I was like, ‘Jade, you have to get yourself moving.”

She noticed the majority of her baby weight was held in her ‘middle section, hips, thighs and waist.’
‘I really didn’t worry about my body at first. Then I was like, ‘OK, I’m ready,’ she told the publication.
Once embarking on a sturdy nutrition program focused on proper portion sizes through Nutrisystem, she also began a focused fitness regimen.
‘It was pretty gentle,’ she said of the routine which included free weights and stationary bike rides.

‘I’m really proud that I got my waist back down and I’m fitting into jeans I wore before pregnancy,’ Jade said. That feels really good.’
In April, the former Playboy model was back in a bikini on the beach, noting, ‘I feel like I’m back to my normal self!’
She also admitted that her ‘goal was to get back to my regular weight so I could have another baby.
‘I didn’t want to be accumulating weight. I wanted to feel good so I could have another.’
