A brave base jumper leapt from Beachy Head to help his injured friend who had just crashed into rocks and plummeted 530ft below.
The thrillseeker jumped from the cliff in a wingsuit but lost control and was pulled towards the rocks, causing him to fall on to the beach.
His friend, who was waiting to jump and is a trained paramedic, quickly sprung into action and followed him over the cliff edge to provide treatment.
The coastguard and search and rescue helicopter were dispatched to rescue the man after his fall from the cliff near Eastbourne, East Sussex.

After being treated by a second paramedic on the helicopter, he was rushed to a meeting point in Brighton, East Sussex, before being taken to hospital on Saturday.
A Coastguard spokesman said: ‘Birling Gap Coastguard team were tasked to a base jumper whose parachute had pulled him towards the cliff.
‘It was reported by his friends that one of the other base jumpers was a paramedic, who immediately jumped off the cliff to his aid.
‘A lifeboat, along with the Search & Rescue Helicopter from Lydd in Kent, which arrived first, were also tasked.
‘A paramedic onboard the helicopter treated the base jumper who is believed to have suffered a broken hip and was stuck at the beach close to the Beachy Head Lighthouse.
‘He was then airlifted to a meeting point in Brighton, before being handed over to ambulance crews.’

Beachy Head is popular with tourists looking to take adventurous selfies, while thrill seeking base jumpers also regularly use the cliffs due to how tall they are.
However, the unstable chalk cliffs have seen a number of rock falls this year.
Now, the UK Coastguard Agency has warned daredevils to stay back from the edge of the beauty spot in case they fall while taking pictures.
But this has not stopped daring selfie snappers, who had continued to dangle from the ledge to try and capture the perfect image for their social media accounts.
