With Christmas behind us and many dogs being given as gifts, an increased number of pooches are sadly struggling to find a home.
And Battersea Dogs & Cats Home has launched an appeal to rehome its longest-standing residents, some of which have been searching for their forever home for more than 300 days.
In an effort to raise awareness for the four-legged pals, My Nametags is encouraging people to share images of their friends that bear a resemblance to their adorable canines.
The campaign will run until Thursday January 25 and hopes to find some of Battersea’s loneliest residents a new home.
The average stay for a dog at Battersea is just 35 days, and so it is no surprise that these long-term residents are desperate to find a new owner…
