Big Brother star Tully Smyth wants to be next Bachelorette

She rose to fame on Big Brother in 2013, making headlines for cheating on her then-girlfriend with a fellow male housemate.

And four years on, Tully Smyth is adamant she is no longer a bisexual and instead prefers to date the opposite sex.

Not wanting to waste any time with finding her special someone, the former reality star, 30, recently told Yahoo! Be she’s keen to be the next Bachelorette.

Tully was labeled as a reality TV ‘ bad girl’  after she was at the center of a romantic fling with male Big Brother housemate Anthony Drew in 2013, despite being in a long-term lesbian relationship with girlfriend Tahlia Farrant.

She was once linked to Bachelor star Richie Strahan in 2015, but fiercely denied speculation they were more than friends at the time.

‘I would love to be the next Bachelorette, sign me up!’ the social media influencer with 230k followers revealed to the publication at the Melbourne Cup.

‘I have heard nothing from anybody but you know what, Georgia Love’s one of my really good friends and I’m up for it,’  Tully said, name dropping her former Bachelorette pal during the chat.

If on the show, she said she wouldn’t be interested in pursuing another same-sex relationship and would only be in search of a male companion.

Despite confessing to no longer being a bisexual, Tully claimed she had ‘no regrets’ over her past same-sex relationships, including her time with ex Tahlia.

Last week, Tully revealed to Daily Mail Australia at Melbourne’s Oaks Day, that she wants to be ‘challenged’ and known for more than just her social media status.

‘As much as I love it (being an influencer), it’s just not enough,’ she admitted. 

‘I’m so lucky to get to do what I do, but as someone with a journalism background, maybe work in radio and TV eventually.

‘As much as I love it, it’s just not enough. I want to be busier, I want to be challenged. I want to be inspired,’ the blonde beauty continued. 

She also spoke about her love life: ‘I’m very much single. When you get to 30 you really know what you’re looking for. And I haven’t found it yet.’
