BlackMilk launches a Harry Potter activewear line

From the late 1990s, children and adults around the world began debating an essential question about themselves:

Which house would they belong to if they were admitted to Hogwarts?

From the kind Hufflepuffs to the studious Ravenclaws, the brave Gryffindors to the sneaky Slytherins, everyone wanted to identify with JK Rowling’s magical world.

Fast-forward two decades later and that fandom still persists today. And, thanks to Australian label BlackMilk, you can now wear your Hogwarts house for all to see.

BlackMilk is releasing a new 16-piece range of activewear on December 19 titled Team Hogwarts.

The brand decided to add some magic to their famous sportswear after the smash success of their previous Harry Potter range.

Each Hogwarts house is represented in the line, with pieces proudly displaying the signature yellow, red, blue, and green that have come to respectively define Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin.

There are stylish leggings, each with the name of a house running down one leg, plus stylish checkered jerseys with a signature house crest.

Tank tops, dresses, and jumpers are also part of the creative line, with prices starting at $70.

BlackMilk founder and head designer James Lillis revealed this is the first licensed collection to be launched under the company’s activewear brand.

‘We have such a devoted Harry Potter fandom amongst our Black Milk community, and we decided we wanted to offer them something a little different this time around,’ he said in a statement.

‘We wanted to create really fun pieces that let fans show their love for the Harry Potter series – and represent their Hogwart house – while they are hitting the gym, going for a run, or even just heading out to do their grocery shopping.’

BlackMilk, which is available online only, ships worldwide to 200 countries.

The site has become a viral sensation for releasing pop culture clothes with a fashionable twist in swimwear, tops, Lycra tights, and dresses.

BlackMilk, based in Brisbane, has released lines for Star Wars, Batman, Lord of the Rings, and Game of Thrones in the past. It has a licensing partnership with Warner Bros.
