Blanca Padilla stuns in ballerina-inspired frock in Madrid

She had stormed the runway as part of this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai at the end of November.

And showcasing her catwalk credentials in Madrid, Spain on Tuesday, Blanca Padilla looked simply stunning as she stepped out in her native to attend the 15th anniversary of Glamour magazine at the Ritz Hotel.

The beauty, 22, slipped into a ballerina-inspired mini dress that sheathed her lithe frame and boasted a statement tutu skirt, as she found herself honoured with the International Model Award at the fashion bash.

Thrilled with the honour, Blanca couldn’t hide her delight as she rubbed shoulders with the fashion world’s elite while commanding attention in her cream and gold frock.

It boasted a bandeau neckline and a fitted bodice that highlighted the starlet’s model physique, before billowing out around her in a structured tutu skirt that came complete with multiple petticoat layers.

Making a very leggy appearance in the eye-wateringly short number, Blanca showcased her catwalk-worthy pins while strutting along in a pair of black sandal heels that came complete with ribbon detailing around the ankle.

She wore her glossy brunette mane down to fall past her shoulders, with her tresses styled into soft glamorous curls and swept over to one side.

To receive her prize, Blanca favoured a flawless make-up look that made sure to accentuate her striking features with contoured cheeks, a subtle smokey-eye and a dark red lip.

She was seen striking up a slew of poses on her arrival to the bash held in the Spanish capital, before clasping her hands in delight – no doubt honoured to have been name the publication’s International Model of the Year.

Her appearance in her native Spain comes after Blanca was recently unveiled as the new face of Givenchy Beauty in October.

She was first discovered on the subway in Madrid as a teen and later signed to Next Model Management. Since then, Blanca has gone on to star in campaigns for Dolce & Gabbanna and has graced the covers of both Vogue Mexico and Vogue España.

Other major fashion houses she has walked for include Balmain, Anna Sui, Dior, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren and Versace.

Blanca made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut in 2014 – becoming the fourth Spanish model to take to the runway for the lingerie brand.

Fans recently saw her storm the runway in Shanghai, alongside Adriana Lima, Bella Hadid, Sara Sampaio, and Karlie Kloss. The showcase had been the last to include Victoria’s Secret veteran Alessandra Ambrosio, as she has decided to give up her wings.

She has retired from her modelling duties with the brand in the hope of spending more time with her family and focusing on her swimwear range, as well as expanding on her acting career.

This year, Harry Styles and Miguel had performed alongside the angles as they took to the catwalk in their dazzling designs.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is considered to be the most-watched fashion event of the years, with 800million people believed to tune in to see the models take to the catwalk in the bejewelled ensembles.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, it’s claimed around $12million (£9.2million) is spent on putting the major fashion event together, with a slew of famous musicians accompanying the models as they showcase the brand’s show-stopping designs.
