Bizarre footage has shown a driver making his entire journey in reverse gear.
The clip, filmed by another motorist in Branson, Ontario, Canada, shows the man’s silver car facing the wrong direction as it waits with other vehicles at a crossroads.
The driver can be seen edging closer to the junction as he waits for his turn to go.
When the traffic lights turn green the car, which has its hazard lights on, suddenly begins reversing down the road.
The driver filming the dangerous event pursues the vehicle before overtaking it.

As the camera passes by it shows a man wearing a white t-shirt looking behind his seat as he gains speed.
A second clip shows the driver, still travelling backwards, turning off a main road before heading down another street.
It is not known how the driver had got himself into that position at the crossroads or whether he had started his journey in reverse.
The footage was uploaded to Twitter with the caption ‘Meanwhile in Brampton…’ on Tuesday and it has since been shared thousands of times.
One social media user, Tracey Benjamin, tweeted that she had been on the road at the time and had spoken to the driver.
She added: ‘His transmission was gone … bad choice.’
It’s not known how the driver managed to get himself in that position on the road in the first place.

Peel Regional Police said they were aware of the footage and are investigating the incident.
A spokeswoman told the Brampton Guardian: ‘It’s important drivers are aware of their surroundings at all times and they are driving appropriately.’
