Bride And Prejudice’s Jessica Jones has faced a lot of slack from future mother-in-law Fatima.
But now the 21-year-old has hit back at her fiancée’s mother, saying she is no longer the party girl Fatima has labelled her as.
‘I’d like everyone to know that I was a party girl, but I am not a party girl anymore,’ Jessica told New Idea on Monday.

‘Anyone who actually knows me knows that most of the time I sit at home with my parents and play Wordscapes and watch movies,’ she added.
Jessica revealed that between the ages of 18 and 20 she did go out a lot in the wake of a breakup.
‘From 18 to 20, I spent the majority of my time going out because I just didn’t really have much else to do and I’d just gone through a breakup and I was living my best life,’ she said.

On the recent premiere of Bride And Prejudice, Fatima didn’t hold back when she found out about her son Seyat’s engagement to Jessica.
‘Jess is very dirty,’ Fatima said in a piece to camera. ‘Disgusting. She smells like cats.’
‘I believe Jess is a s***** party girl,’ she continued. ‘I don’t want my son to date a wh*re like that.’

Fatima later stated that Jessica ‘dresses like a prostitute’ and didn’t fit in with her family’s culture.
Later in the episode, when Seyat and Jessica broke the news to Fatima and husband Sam that they were getting married, Fatima launched into a verbal attack so scathing it caused Jessica to flee the scene in tears.
Refusing to even look at Jessica or acknowledge her presence, Fatima said: ‘It won’t last.’
‘She’s not for Seyat,’ she continued. ‘I feel like she’s always using Seyat, she’s always sooking to him… she’s got no idea of anything!’
