Brooklyn Beckham unveils tattoo of siblings’ birth years

He showcased his cupid-inspired tattoo on Tuesday, as his romance with actress Chloe Moretz quickly advances.

And Brooklyn Beckham, 18, shared yet another personal inking – this time, in tribute to his three younger siblings.

Dedicating his arm to the intimate piece, the tattoo reads ’02 05 11′, which appeared to represent the birth years for Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and Harper, six, respectively.

The stand alone piece includes the numbers in a smoothly written font, edited for Instagram in a monochromatic picture form.

This doesn’t come as a surprise as the eldest child of Victoria and David Beckham has taken to social media to share his long for siblings Romeo, Cruz and Harper while in New York – where he is studying Photography at university.

The young model has showcased his rapidly developing love of body art after following a visit to one of New York’s best known tattoo studios.

While much of his previous work has been small,  Brooklyn revealed a significantly larger tattoo in a new post shared on celebrated artist Doctor Woo’s Instagram page.

The intricately drawn design, etched across the photography student’s torso, features God of desire Cupid with his bow poised and ready.

The new design could well be a tribute to actress girlfriend Chloe Grace Moretz, with whom the smitten teen has spent and increasing amount of time since rekindling their relationship in August.

Captioning the tasteful black and white shot, tattooist Woo – whose previous clients include Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Hilary Duff – wrote:  “Fun one for BB… thankz bud @brooklynbeckham.’

Brooklyn’s new tattoo is the latest in a series of inking over recent months.

Making an appearance in Greenwich Village shortly after enrolling at the prestigious Parson’s School of Design in August, he revealed the single word ‘Seven,’ inked in a prominent position above his left wrist.

The inking could be a nod to the shirt number famously worn by former footballer David during his playing days with Manchester United and England.

David made the shirt his own during a trophy-laden spell with the Red Devils, with whom he won six Premier League titles, the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League, and a 13-career with the national team that included appearances at five major tournaments.

At club level the sporting legend would later relinquish his regular shirt in favour of number 23, a reference to basketball player Michael J. Jordan, after signing for Spanish giants Real Madrid.

His first tattoo came in April – a forearm inking which directly mimics his father David’s – is an illustration of a Native American in traditional headdress.

Only weeks after sitting for the tattoo at Shamrock Social Club, he revealed a second intricate inking of what appeared to be a Fujitsu camera on his left bicep, no doubt in a homage to the aspiring photographer’s passion.

The teenager later revealed his fifth design, a distinctive eagle occupying the space between his thumb and forefinger.

Shortly afterwards Brooklyn showcased the words ‘Made In England’, inked across his left foot – an ironic choice as his namesake was inspired by his parents love of America, and he now divides his time between England and the States.

This came shortly before he revealed a sizeable new rose tattoo, which is located along the side of his torso.

Curiously, David’s own love of tattoos began with a tribute to Brooklyn after the former footballer had his name etched across his lower back in gothic script.

He is thought to have caught the bug from Spice Girl Mel B’s then husband, Jimmy Gulzar, and ended up getting a tattoo to commemorate Brooklyn’s arrival into the world.

‘Mine are all about the people in my life, my wife and sons, who I want with me always,’ he has previously said.

‘When you see me, you see the tattoos. You see an expression of how I feel about Victoria and the boys. They’re part of me.’

Despite now being in his forties, David appears to have no desire to put an end to his permanent, and expensive, hobby.

The father-of-four has previously revealed that he has no regrets about any of his inkings.

‘I don’t regret any of them,’ he said. ‘They all have a meaning. I think that’s what’s important about tattoos, if they have a meaning you’ll never regret them.’
