Cancer survivor gets a stunning ambush makeover after eight years in remission

A Minnesota mother-of-three was primped and pampered while receiving a stunning ambush makeover in celebration of being eight years cancer-free.

Appearing on Thursday morning’s episode of the Today show, Monica explained that she wanted a ‘really professional’ new look to start the next chapter of her life.

After battling cancer in 2010 and receiving the best treatment possible, the working mom decided to pursue a career in healthcare so she could help others.

‘Oh my! Wow!’ he gushed, and Kathie Lee couldn’t help but tease: ‘Oh, Ed like what Ed sees.’

Monica was just as happy when she saw her transformation in the mirror for the first time, and she couldn’t resist fluffing her new ‘do with her hand.
