One motorist was left in a sticky situation after returning to find his car completely covered in post-it notes.
The Ford was pictured at Witham Station, Essex, and was shared on social media as people were both confused and amazed at the time-consuming prank.
Hundreds of notes were placed on the vehicle, with almost all easily-visible parts of the car covered in pink, orange and green pieces of paper.
One person wrote on Facebook: ‘I particularly like the back windscreen wiper being picked out in orange post-its.’
Another added, ‘Oh wow, that’s brilliant’, although some less amused commentators said they were worried about the potential for litter.

A day after the car had been pictured with notes stuck on it, an Instagram post by ‘ballistikcheerleading’ appeared to take responsibility for the stunt.
The group, who described themselves as a ‘coed Cheerleading performance squad, Dancers and Showgirls based in nth Essex & Suffolk’, posted an image of the car with the caption: ‘DON’T MESS WITH THE BALLISTIK BABES esp. BOBSTER !!!….
