Carrie Bickmore reveals she had VERY bad morning sickness

The Project’s Carrie Bickmore excitedly announced on Thursday that she’s expecting her third child.

And just hours later on The Hit Network’s Carrie & Tommy show, the 37-year-old revealed that she’s suffered from very bad morning sickness.

‘Until this week I felt so sick, 24 hours a day, like I mean so sick,’ the presenter said.

Carrie revealed the severity of her morning sickness, telling co-host Tommy Little: ‘I didn’t even think I had the energy to work out [how] to even get my head around what was happening.’

The already proud mother-of-two continued: ‘[Being] hungry made me feel sick, eating has made me feel sick, being awake has made me feel sick, sleeping has made me feel sick, coffee has made me feel sick, everything has made me feel sick.’

However luckily for Carrie the situation has improved.

‘I’m feeling 50 per cent better which weirdly feels like completely better,’ the journalist added.

Carrie announced her pregnancy via Instagram on Thursday, posting a sweet video featuring her partner Chris Walker, their daughter Evie, three, and her son Oliver, 11, from her first marriage to late husband Greg Lange.

Carrie filmed herself telling her two children, ‘there’s a baby in mummy’s tummy’.   

Her daughter Evie’s reaction was priceless, with the little one asking her mother if she was having twins.  

The cute youngster looked at Carrie’s stomach in disbelief, asking, ‘now?’ before adding, ‘Is it a boy or a girl?… Have you got twins?’

The soon-to-be big sister was overjoyed by the news, jumping about and laughing with a huge grin as she looked around at her parents.

Carrie laughed at her reaction, confirming she wasn’t having twins and didn’t yet know if the baby was a girl or a boy.

‘Hey some exciting news to share with you. We are having a BABY. How funny is Evie asking if it’s twins. No honey it’s not twins!!!!!!’ Carrie wrote alongside her Instagram post.

Carrie met her partner Chris while he worked as a producer on The Project. It is believed the pair began dating in 2012.

In October 2014, they announced they were expecting their first child together, daughter Evie. They welcomed their little girl into the world in 2015.

She previously told Woman’s Day that she and Chris ‘connected’ and bonded over both losing loved ones.

‘He lost his brother in a car accident,’ she revealed.

‘He [Greg] was a great father and great husband. He wore lots of hats to hide his scars and I would tell him “don’t be embarrassed,”‘ she said. 

She also promoted her charity ‘Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer’ during the speech.

As of May this year, the blonde beauty has raised $4.5 million for brain cancer research from the sales of the beanies.

Carrie is yet to reveal how far along in her pregnancy she is with her third child. Daily Mail Australia has reached out for comment.
