He shouts at her, ‘say cheese, you’re on camera’ as she approaches.

‘Hey grandma, Merry Christmas,’ Robinson tells her as she immediately begins screaming and jumping for joy at the sight of the new oven.

‘Ohhhhh, who did it? I know who did it, you did it,’ she excitedly says before realizing it was her grandson and giving him a hug.

‘Thank you so much baby.’

She then continues to scream and jump with happiness before checking out the new appliance.

‘Oh that’s so good, oh that’s so great,’ she says. ‘Oh that’s pretty.’

Robinson, who graduated from Northern Illinois University, pans the camera over to show her old oven that’s off to the side, while she continues checking things out on the new one before screaming again.

‘Oh that’s so pretty, thank you thank you,’ she says before hugging him again.

Robinson tweeted that he was ‘glad (he) could bring her some joy’ and that it was a ‘small token of (his) appreciation.’

After the video went viral, some social media users encouraged him to create a GoFundMe page in an effort to raise $50,000 to make additional improvements on her home.

‘My birthday is a week from today, (December 20th) and this is the only thing I want for my birthday,’ he wrote on the page.

‘She means the world to me, as she promised my mom that she would always do what ever it takes to ensure my siblings and I had a chance to be successful, and I cannot thank her enough for helping me get through college.

‘My grandma always gives back to the community by way of volunteering her time with Sunday school children and donating to other causes, but I would love to pay it forward and give something back to her.

‘The funds donated would go directly towards renovating her home and I’ll be sure to provide donors with updates along the way.

‘Thank you for your continued support and happy holidays!’
