Chris Watts’ ‘gay lover’ reveals he wants to see the killer ‘one last time’ in prison

Chris Watts’ alleged gay lover has revealed he wants to see him ‘one last time’ to bid a final goodbye to the convicted killer who is jailed for life for the blood-curdling murders his pregnant wife and two young daughters.

Watts, 34, pleaded guilty on November 6 to murdering of his pregnant wife Shannon, who would have turned 35 on Thursday, and their two daughters Bella, four, and Celeste, three, in their Frederick, Colorado home.

Male escort Trent Bolte, 29, told investigators he had a 10-month secret sexual relationship with Watts that ended last spring, and now wants to see him one last time.

‘Once, just for closure for me. After that, I don’t want anything to do with him,’ Bolte, of Colorado, said to Inside Edition.

‘I have a lot of questions. Why?’ Bolte added.

Bolte said they met on dating app MeetMe in May 2017 and looked at houses and talked about moving in together after Watts got a divorce. Bolte’s mother said that Watts gave him money during the relationship and even paid for his lip filler injections

‘It’s not like I’m still in love with him, but I still view him as the Chris that I knew,’ he added.

The two met on dating app MeetMe in May 2017, according to Bolte. He said Watts told him he was divorced while he was still married to his wife Shannon.

They spent time together in a remote Wyoming cabin and according to Bolte even talked about moving in together.

‘We went and looked at houses together in Fort Collins. I was in the process of moving out of where I was staying. I was planning on getting a two-bedroom apartment, but Chris was like, “No, I’m going to be divorced. We need to look at three-bedroom houses and the girls can have a room,”‘ Bolte said.

Bolte said he was shocked and sickened to learn of the chilling murders Watts committed in August.

‘I think Chris is a monster, he definitely has the ability to be one. Why didn’t he just divorce her? Why didn’t he listen to me? I mean, why [did he feel] like that was his only way out?’ he said.

He said he’ll stop by to see Watts, who is held in Weld County Jail in Colorado, once he’s added to the visitation list.

Bolte’s mother Colleen Bolte confirmed their relationship in her own interview with a Colorado Bureau Investigation agent.

She added that Watts gave her son money while they were together and paid for his lip injections.

Watts was spared the death penalty and was handed five life sentences in prison for the murders in November.

Investigators believe that Watts slaughtered his family to start a new life with his mistress Nichol Kessinger, dubbed the ‘most hated woman in America’.

She told police that she started an affair with Watts just a month before he launched his killing spree.

She and Watts worked together at the oil company Anadarko at the time of the murders.

On August 13, 2018 Watts murdered his pregnant wife Shannon by strangling her with his bare hands. Then he buried her in a shallow grave in a crude oil field where he worked.

He also killed his daughters by suffocating them and placed their bodies in oil tanks.

Despite committing the crime, Watts repeatedly denied involvement in their disappearance and made a shifty television appearance saying he had no idea where they were before later confessing to the murders.
