Common Google search typos lead to hilarious images

Typos are never desirable, that is unless the following search result leaves you stifling with laughter. And that’s exactly the case for hundreds of Google search users who have taken to social media to share their slight spelling mistakes that have led to hilarious image surprises.

A Bored Panda thread has gone viral for its lengthy list of search engine typos like  ‘Ryan Goosling’ and ‘Baroque Obama’ that led to well-edited images that paste The Notebook’s star face onto a goose’s body and the former president’s face onto Renaissance garb.

And it turns out that the bizarre results are all too common as the list features 100 plus responses with imaginative edited images, that appear purposely crafted to match the typos.

One of the funniest images in the thread reveals a common typo with La La Land star Ryan Gosling’s name as Ryan Goosling, and it looks like several Photoshoppers caught on with the common mistake and created an image that puts Ryan’s face and chest onto the body of a goose and another that pastes his face onto the beaks of little geese, which happened to be called goslings.

Another image reveals the typo of ‘Baroque Obama’ instead of Barack Obama, which led to bizarre images that reveal the former president’s face expertly edited onto the body of a character from an old time-period flick, where he looks regally to side in a curled blond wig, heavily embellished old-fashioned waist coat, and pompous necktie.

‘Accidentally typed “Baroque Obama” in Google. Was not disappointing,’ Twitter user Noah shared.

In a following post one user’s assuming fingers accidentally typed in ‘lamb brother’ instead of the recipe for ‘lamb broth’ and the heart-melting photos of baby sheep playing together and even hugging left her with a sickening feeling for her menu of the evening.

‘I accidentally searched for lamb brother instead of lamb broth and now I wanna die,’ she wrote.

One lady’s hands slipped and accidentally wrote ‘Lady & the Trump’ instead of the famed Disney movie title and the results revealed memes from the 2016 presidential election that replaced the grey dog Tramp’s face with Trump puckered face, edited to slurp a noodle with the pet Lady or an edited Hillary Clinton. Some movie cover edits even included the faces of Mitt Romney and Barack Obama plastered over the facades of other movie characters, to add chaos to the dramatic scene.

Another user mistakenly typed ‘Ariana Gandhi’, combining the names of pop star Ariana Grande with leader of Indian independence Mahatma Gandhi, only to find someone had thought of a similar idea and Photoshopped the singer’s iconic ponytail onto Gandhi’s smiling photograph.

One vowel change can create a whole new meaning, as one user curious about dog breeds found out in her accidental Google search. Twitter user Berry typed in ‘dog breads’ by mistake and found someone had edited the viral ‘doge’ meme onto a loaf of bread for a bizarre photo.

One woman forgot the ‘s’ in her Game of Thrones cast search and it led her to a massive photo compilation of Game of Thrones cast with their cat lookalikes – and the semblance is surprisingly uncanny.

The lengthy list reveals odd products like ‘battle slippers’ and knitted butthole coasters, and stirs a laugh with edited images of Tom Hanks as a military tank and and ‘Christ Pratt’ which combines Jesus Christ with the Jurassic World actor.
