Conor McGregor caught on camera using homophobic slur

UFC superstar Conor McGregor has found himself at the centre of a storm once again after being filmed using a homophobic slur multiple times.

McGregor used the word ‘f****t’ on two occasions during a brief conversation with training partner Artem Lobov following the latter’s defeat at UFC Gdansk in Poland on Saturday.

Lobov, who had lost a featherweight contest to Andre Fili, was accompanied by McGregor backstage after the fight.

The Irishman is seen in footage telling the Russian: ‘He’s a f****t, everyone knows he’s a f****t.’

The pair then disappear behind a curtain.

It is unclear who McGregor’s slur was related to.

Sportsmail has contacted UFC for comment. 

Earlier in the night in Gdank, McGregor had to be told to sit down by referee Marc Goddard as he watched Lobov suffer a unanimous decision loss.

The Notorious has not set foot in the octagon for almost a year due to his high-profile boxing match against Floyd Mayweather Jnr.

His last MMA bout took place on November 12, 2016, resulting in victory over Eddie Alvarez. 

He has, however, been ordered to defend his lightweight UFC title against Tony Ferguson.
