Cops called to Bill Cosby’s mansion on his 81st birthday

Cops were called out to Bill Cosby’s Pennsylvania mansion on Thursday as the disgraced star celebrated turning 81.

Police dispatch audio reveals that officers were called to a noise complaint at the Cheltenham home, where Cosby is under house arrest, because ‘loud music’ had been blasting from 7am.

Witnesses told TMZ that they heard jazz music, most likely from Cosby’s birthday bash, but that it all quietened down after the cops arrived.

It’s not clear who attended the party.

Cosby faces up to thirty years behind bars, 10 years for each count of assault, after he was convicted of drugging and molesting Andrea Constand at his home in January 2004. He will be sentenced on September 24.

The verdict was a devastating blow to Cosby’s lead attorney, Thomas Mesereau – the man famous for securing Michael Jackson’s acquittal in 2005.

But it was vindication for Constand, the five other accusers who testified in this case and the more than 60 others who claim to have been assaulted by Cosby over the years.

Cosby, who was found guilty on three counts of felony sexual assault in April, got rid of all seven of his lawyers in the lead-up to his September 24 sentencing.

Sources said that the 80-year-old, who is currently on house arrest, was said to have been ‘angry’ at his high-powered legal team.

‘They let him down,’ a source told Radar on Thursday. ‘And these aren’t easy times.’

‘I wish Mr Cosby, his family, and his new defense team all the best,’ Mesereau said in a statement last month.

Another source told ABC that Cosby’s family believed that Kathleen Bliss, a former federal prosecutor, ‘didn’t do a good job’.

He has since hired lawyer Joseph Green Jr.

This is not the first time Cosby has replaced his legal team.

After his first trial ended with a hung jury and mistrial, Cosby’s attorneys Brian McMonagle and Angela Agrusa filed a motion to withdraw form the case.  It remains unknown why both attorneys decided to withdraw.

Cosby has also hit back at rumors that he is splitting with Camille Cosby – his wife of 54 years.

Andrew Wyatt, Cosby’s representative, said the rumors that Camille was moving out of the couple’s Philadelphia home was a ‘ridiculous story’.

‘The accusations they have made in their tabloid are absolutely false,’ Wyatt said, referring to a story published by Radar.

‘Mrs and Mr Cosby are not getting divorced and she’s with him in the Philadelphia home as we speak.’

Wyatt also said there were ‘no issues in the marriage’ and ‘no issues with the children’, who are now in their forties and fifties.

‘It’s amazing how people can make things up,’ Wyatt said.
