A dad in Arizona had things backfire when a prank meant for his daughter turned the trick back on him.
Video taken yesterday shows the dad with his daughter seated at a kitchen table preparing for the hoax.
The dad has a filled and uncapped water bottle, which he wraps in a towel while explaining the trick to his little girl.
A penny is thought to be at the bottom of the bottle and the trick is meant to make the coin rise to the top.
The dad gets her to repeat the magic words ‘penny, penny, come my way’ before removing the towel from the bottle.
‘Do you see it?’ the dad asks, as he squeezes the bottle so that the water begins spurting out.

The water is aimed for the little girl, but instead, hits dad right in the face. He’s absolutely soaked.
Everyone in the room, including dad, starts laughing at the trick’s failure.
But the little girl doesn’t think it’s so funny and bursts into tears, eventually running out of the room.
