Daily Mail TV gets renewed for a second season

DailyMailTV has been renewed after its hugely successful first season saw it take the rookie ratings lead for 15 weeks in a row.

Hosted by Jesse Palmer, the show has grown by double digits since its opener on September 18 – which had the highest rated national debut of any syndicated news-magazine since 2007. By December 17 it had averaged more than 1.6 million daily viewers.

Today, DailyMail.com and Stage 29 Productions announced that DailyMailTV has been renewed for a second season in the fall.

The hour-long syndicated daily show made its debut from studios in midtown New York in September – with live links to DailyMail.com’s massive bureaus in London, NYC, Sydney and Los Angeles – and was being broadcast across 202 stations reaching over 99% of country.
