But Brooklyn Beckham, 18, has hit dad David, 42, where it hurts, after landing himself a Top 10 debut in British GQ’s 50 Best Dressed Men in the World.
David, who is generally considered one of the snappiest dressers in showbusiness, will be disappointed to learn he has slipped 13 places in the 2018 list.

Currently dating American actress Chloe Moretz, Brooklyn ranked number 9 in a list featuring fellow new entries Travis Scott (13) and Rocco Ritchie (21).
On his triumph, GQ’s style editors commented: ‘He’s continuing his father’s excellent work in the field of menswear for the next generation.’
This year topped by former Doctor Who actor Matt Smith, the list finds David at 28, after a place at number 13 last year.

David was beaten by actor Jeff Goldblum (3), boxer Conor McGegor (11) and racing car driver Lewis Hamilton (15), among others.
Insisting the male style icon still had it, the GQ commentary reads: ‘The original British menswear maverick is still at the top of his game – and clearly passing his time-honed tips to his son Brooklyn.’
In 2016, David’s 15-year-old middle son Romeo – a Burberry model and muse since the age of 12 – made a re-entry at No8, beating his dad by four places.

David is known to be mock-competitive with his sons, previously trolling his son about borrowing his clothes and having fewer followers on Instagram.
When Brooklyn – who now has 10.5m followers compared to his dad’s 41m – reached one million followers, his dad rained all over his parade.
In a humorous live video, posted in 2015, David trumped his son’s following by interrupting the feed to boast about his own huge fan following.
Brooklyn – whose mother is international fashionista Victoria Beckham – humorously captioned the video ‘Is my dad cooler than me?’ using hashtags.

David previously spoke about the appearance of being ‘cool’ to his four children, Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and Harper, six.
‘I was cool for about five hours,’ he said in 2015. ‘According to Brooklyn, when I got him Kanye’s Adidas Yeezys for his 16th birthday. Then he realised I got myself a pair as well, so that kind of killed it.’
He added: ‘Every time I go into my wardrobe and there are clothes on the floor, I know Brooklyn’s been in there, as I’m a really tidy person.
‘He doesn’t think I’m cool, but he will go out in my new Saint Laurent trousers – which actually fit him better – and my trainers.’
