He’s hosted Sunrise since 2002.

And during his time at the helm of Channel Seven’s breakfast show, David ‘Kochie’ Koch has had his share of nightmare interviews.

Speaking to news.com.au on Saturday, 62-year-old revealed the worse celebrity guests on Sunrise.

‘He was just a nightmare to interview’: David Koch reveals the worst Sunrise celebrity guests of all time … and it’s not David Duchovny!

Kochie claimed Harrison Ford’s 2006 appearance to promote his movie Firewall was among the worst because he ‘obviously didn’t want to be there’.

Fed up, Kochie ended up cutting the interview short much to the surprise of Harrison.

Also uncomfortable was Seinfeld star Michael Richards, who Kochie said kept going in and out of his sitcom character during a Sunrise appearance in 2004.

‘I don’t know,’ David responded, before Samantha quickly added: ‘So you’ll just keep going?’

Not seeming impressed by her statement, the Californication star said: ‘You say that like it’s a bad thing… just keep going?’

Kochie’s interview comes after Sunrise was targeted by angry protesters on Friday morning.

Channel Seven ran stock footage of Martin Place rather than show the crowd outside the studio, which were protesting a Sunrise segment which saw an all-white panel discussed whether white families should be allowed to adopt Aboriginal children.

A Channel Seven spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia the decision was made to roll down soundproof blinds and use a ‘generic backdrop’ because of offensive signage and language.
