The New Rules hitmaker was recently honoured with the ASCAP Vanguard award – which celebrates talent that bring an impact of new and developing musical genres, helping shape the future of music.
Dua was this year’s recipient with the award after her hit New Rules became the first single by a solo female artist to hit number one since Adele in 2015.
