Dustin Martin celebrates AFL win with message for parents

Brownlow Medalist Dustin Martin has created history today during the AFL Grand Final, but he didn’t forget to give share a special message to his parents.

Richmond Tigers defeated Adelaide Crows in the 2017 grand final and Martin told 7 News it was ‘the best thing in the world’.

‘I honestly just can not believe it, it’s a dream come true,’ he said.

Shortly before being awarded the Norm Smith medal, Dustin’s quick interview ended with a message to his parents as his father watched on from New Zealand after he was deported earlier this month.
