A couple in their 80s have been found dead at their seaside Devon home in a suspected murder-suicide.
Earlier this morning police officers went to an address on Drake Avenue in Chelston, Torquay, after concerns were raised for the pair’s well-being.
There, they found the man and woman dead and cordoned off the property.

Witness Peter Williamson said that police cars, fire engines and ambulances all swooped in on the home
While police are investigating the cause surrounding their deaths, they have made clear that no suspects are being pursued.
Witness Peter Williamson told Devon Live that police cars, fire engines and ambulances all swooped in on the coastal home at around lunchtime.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police force said: ‘At approximately 1100hrs on Saturday April 20, police were called to an address in Chelston, Torquay for a concern for the welfare of a couple in their 80s.
‘On attendance, police found a male and female deceased within the premises.
‘Police are investigating the circumstances leading to their deaths, but would like to reassure the local community no one else is being looked for in relation to this incident at this time.’
