Em’s co-host, comedian Ed Kavalee, is believed to have ‘sat in a meeting after’ the insider reveals.

The 2DAY FM breakfast team, ‘stated (there is a) need for change within the SCA culture and their values’ at a meeting earlier in the week, the insider adds.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Southern Cross Austereo and Em Rusciano for comment.

It comes after a tumultuous week in the headlines for the 39-year-old.

Over the past few days, radio insiders and former colleagues of Em have broken their silence over her alleged ‘diva antics’.

A news.com.au story, published on Wednesday, an unnamed staffer claimed the radio host creates a ‘toxic work environment’ at 2DayFM.

‘She seems really insecure. She portrays this really confident, “I think I’m the greatest!” image but I think it stems from a really deep-seeded insecurity, which is really sad,’ the source added.

Earlier this week, The Daily Telegraph first reported that several 2Day FM staff had left the breakfast show because they refused to work with Em.

‘Things are at breaking point, people just cannot work with her energy. There have been… casualties at the hands of Em Rusciano,’ a source told the newspaper.

It was also claimed that Ed Kavalee had refused to speak to Em off-air throughout an entire three-hour program because he was upset by her comments about him.

The insider continued: ‘She just doesn’t know how to interact with people. She won’t compromise with anybody. She always has to be right.’

This comes after Em she made comments on Wil Anderson’s Wilosophy podcast earlier this week where she talked about working in breakfast radio.

‘When someone I feel is getting in my way or is slowing me down or isn’t listening I just f**king turn and I’m impatient and I’m mean and I’m a b***h and I’m not a team player,’ she admitted.
