Former Yahoo CEO Tim Koogle has put his Los Altos Hills, California, mansion on the market for $19.4million.

The 5,440-square-foot home, designed by noted Bay Area architect John Funk and built in 1955, was first listed on realtor.com on August 11.

Based on median home prices, Forbes named Los Altos Hills as one of the most expensive ZIP codes in the nation, coming in at number 11.

According to the listing description, the home ‘was faithfully modernized, expanded, and renovated by renowned architect Scott Johnson for an effective age of 17 years’.

‘It is extremely unusual to have such a large piece of land, so secluded and private, while still being only about five minutes, one mile, from town,’ listing agent Richard C Williamson, of Today Sotheby’s International, told realtor.com.

Koogle is perhaps best known as the first CEO of Yahoo, a position he held from 1995 to 2001.

By the time his tenure ended, Koogle guided the one-time Internet giant’s growth to well over $1billion in revenue.

In 2013, Harvard Business Review named Koogle one of the 100 Best-Performing CEOs of all time and ranked him Number One for his ‘ability to consistently deliver results over the long haul’.
