Former Home and Away star Kate Ritchie was applauded by fans for gracing an unedited cover of Who Magazine’s Beautiful People issue.

While the actress, 40, took to Instagram to gush over the photo shoot, fans quickly flocked to the comment section to praise her natural looks.

‘You look real and not airbrushed into oblivion which is so refreshing, thank you gorgeous lady,’ one Instagram user wrote.

In the caption of the post, Kate wrote: ‘Thank you to @whomagazine and to @jasonierace for capturing this forty year old woman truthfully and with such warmth, despite the pool temperature, on the day!’ 

And it comes after Kate hinted at a possible return to Summer Bay during an interview with TV Week in January this year.

The soap star, who made her acting debut as Sally Fletcher on Home and Away back in 1988, said: ‘I would be lying if I said I’m not looking forward to the day I’m back on TV or film set, flexing those [acting] muscles again.’

Kate also admitted she hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a return to Home and Away.

‘Never say never… I think for now Summer Bay seems to be surviving quite well without Sally Fletcher,’ she said. 

‘But, as I’ve said before, it was such an incredible part of my life and I still feel so fondly about it,’ she concluded.
