Yet another prank has backfired on Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald.
After his wife ‘agreed’ to go on a date with another man during a failed stunt last week, she’s now ‘screened’ his calls during his latest ‘faithfulness test.’
In footage shared to Nova FM’s Instagram on Tuesday, a seemingly distraught Fitzy watched his wife from a monitor with a hidden camera feed, before dialling her phone.

‘We’ve got a cam on the target, who’s your wife today, and we’re actually watching her at a café right now,’ his co-host Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli announced.
‘Come on,’ Fitzy yelled at the monitor as he dialled her number, ‘you’ve got to answer this call.’
‘It’s more important than it’s ever been.’
The clip cut to the feed of her cafe catch up with ‘the girls,’ who Wippa implied may not like her interrupting the conversation to pickup the phone.

‘I’m making the call right now,’ Fitzy indicated, as footage was shown of his wife Belinda’s phone ringing from the hidden camera feed.
She looked at the call for a moment, held it in her hands, and appeared to have a debate with her friends regarding the call.
Belinda ultimately decided to put it back down and let it ring out.
‘She’s put it back down!?’ Fitzy cried in disgust, immediately calling an on-sight producer, asking her to run over and hand his wife the phone.

Knowing Fitzy was on the other end, Belinda offered: ‘Have you ever heard a reversing truck?’ and hung up.
Wippa laughed at the timing, as the call-dropped tone sounded exactly like the reversing alert noise trucks use when backing up.
