Former face of DJ’s Jesinta Franklin starring on the FROW at this week’s Myer new season show

The Block’s Elyse Knowles might not be the only new face of Myer.

According to Monday’s the Daily Telegraph, former David Jones ambassador Jesinta Franklin has accepted an invite to sit front row at this week’s Myer Spring-Summer launch – prompting rumours of a potential new collaboration.

It comes after the 27-year-old beauty ‘snubbed’ her former employer’s star-studded collections launch earlier this month, after the high-end department store replaced her with supermodel Victoria Lee in December 2017.

‘It’s a big get for Jesinta to be seen at the Myer event,’ an insider told the publication on Monday. 

‘As much as Myer will be excited to have their former rival’s face at the show, David Jones will certainly be annoyed.’

The source added: ‘Whether this is a sign of a new relationship or potential future work, we will just have to wait and see.’

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Jesinta’s management for comment.

The report comes after Jennifer Hawkins confirmed last week she will retire as Myer ambassador in November after 12 years with the retail giant.

The 34-year-old model took to Instagram on Thursday to make the announcement after The Block’s Elyse Knowles reportedly inked a deal for $300,00 to replace her.

Jennifer, who is rumoured to have left over an alleged ‘pay dispute’, spoke highly of the department store – writing: ‘Myer will always hold a special place in my heart.’

‘After 12 years it’s time to move onto a new a chapter in my life. I’ll be finishing up my role with Myer this November,’ she began.

The former Australia’s Next Top Model host continued: ‘Myer will always hold a special place in my heart and I wish the Myer team every success for the future.’
