Just hours after Juliet Huddy appeared on the Today Show Monday morning to talk about a sexual harassment claim against Bill O’Reilly, her brother John Huddy was fired from his job at Fox News.
Juliet Huddy came on the Today Show with Megyn Kelly to discuss her settled sexual harassment allegations against the former Fox anchor Bill O’Reilly.
During the show, Huddy revealed that O’Reailly settled with her for an undisclosed amount of money in return for a non-disclosure agreement.
And nearly immediately after the interview, it was announced that John Huddy had lost his job.
John worked at Fox as a foreign correspondent based in Jerusalem since 2014, and a spokesperson told DailyMail.com his departure comes ‘following a thorough investigation into a physical altercation earlier this month.

During the show, Huddy revealed that O’Reailly settled with her for an undisclosed amount of money in return for a non-disclosure agreement.
‘The network’s investigation concluded last week, and due to the observation of the Sabbath on Friday, terminated Huddy’s employment this morning.’
It isn’t clear what physical altercation the spokesperson was referring to.
John and Juliet’s father – also called John Huddy – was a longtime friend of Fox News co-founder Roger Ailes, who was fired from the network last July amid a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by Gretchen Carlson.
Juliet’s story led to numerous allegation against O’Reilly and against Fox News.
Though Huddy couldn’t go into detail due to the NDA she signed, she gave Kelly the opportunity to take multiple shots at the network, and at the woman who controls almost every major Fox News narrative.

‘At Fox News, the media relations chief Irena Briganti is known for her vindictiveness. To this day, she pushes negative articles on certain Ailes accuser, like the one you’re looking at now,’ the NBC anchor began as she welcomed Huddy onto her show.
‘It gives me no pleasure to report such news about my former employer which has absolutely made some reforms since all of this went down. But this must stop. The abuse of women, the shaming of them, the threatening, the retaliation. The silencing of them after-the-fact. It has to stop.’
Kelly also used the show as an opportunity to speak about her own experiences with sexual harassment at Fox, where she worked for more than a decade before coming to Fox News.
‘Fox News was not exactly a friendly environment for harassment victims who wanted to report, in my experience,’ Kelly said.
‘However, O’Reilly’s suggestion that no one complained about his behavior is false. I know because I complained.’
Monday morning’s show comes as O’Reilly is working to fight back against a New York Times story that revealed the disgraced anchor paid a former legal analyst Lis Wiehl $32million to settle a sexual harassment suit.

Later in the show, Huddy’s lawyer Douglas Wigdor made an astonishing claim about Briganti when Kelly asked him about the way accusers and victims can be shamed after filing lawsuits against powerful men like O’Reilly.
‘Irena Briganti has been doing this for years. She’s still there. They have a big playbook, but that’s a central part of it,’ explained Wigdor.
‘She has outed victims who, like Scottie Hughes, who accused Charles Payne of rape. Outed her to a tabloid [‘National Enquirer’].
Hughes later sued Fox News and that lawsuit is still playing out in court.
Though Juliet didn’t say a lot, she did say multiple times she was on the verge of tears, and noted multiple times how terrified she was to be speaking out in public.
She seemed most emotional after Megyn’s forceful intro to open the show.
