Frankel calls on Real Housewives for hurricane relief

They may go through their fair share of drama and even have several fractured friendships between each other.

But the Real Housewives casts can come together for a good cause.

Bethenny Frankel has led the charge in Hurricane Harvey relief efforts as she took to her Instagram on Thursday to encourage her fellow reality stars to also contribute using the hashtag #HousewivesworkingforTexas.

The Skinnygirl mogul has already raised $80K and is hoping to net even more by pleading to the several casts via social media. She has contributed through her new charity, B Strong, which pledged $30K.

She even revealed in the short social media clip that fellow Real Housewives Of New York stars Tinsley Mortimer and Ramona Singer have already contributed.

In it Bethenny says:  ‘Over $70,000 have been donated to women and their families in crisis and thousands and thousands of dollars of goods like rain boots, water, underwear, socks, snacks, water.’

She then names specific casts and castmates including Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville, Nene Leakes, Phaedra Parks, Meghan Edmonds, Luann de Lesseps and Kenya Moore.

On Thursday afternoon Bethenny gave an update on the amount raised as she wrote: ’80k is our most recent tally and thousands more in essentials. Thanks everyone. Good stuff. More to come. #BStrong #workingfortexas xoxo.’

No doubt the contribution from Ramona is a positive for their relationship as the two stars talked about their rivalry during The Real Housewives Of New York City reunion on Wednesday night.

‘She’s talking to me — that’s good!’ Ramona insisted, adding as Bethenny smiled: ‘She’s not icing me out. To me that’s good.’
