Ginger Zee proudly introduced her newborn son Miles Macklin to her Good Morning America colleagues on Tuesday morning, joining them by video call along with the rest of her family.
The meteorologist, 37, was sitting next to her husband Ben Aaron, 36, and their firstborn, two-year-old Adrian, as they all tuned in together for a chat with Michael Strahan, Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Lara Spencer.
Ginger, who gave birth to Miles on February 9, flashed a bright smile while cradling her baby son, before admitting that the family has been ‘wide awake a lot’ since his arrival.

The mother gave the anchors a glimpse of her life as a new parent of two, saying that Miles has proven to be a calm baby, ‘even more than Adrian ever was’.
‘He is so chill. He is a baby that hangs out looks around he’s very alert. He’s very cool,’ she said. ‘And [his] big brother has been helping so much. He was just trying to hold him and help.’
At this point, Ginger asked Adrian: ‘You love your baby brother, right?’
Comically enough, Adrian responded by flashing a not-so-convinced look at the camera, causing his parents as well as the GMA team to crack up.
The show did however air a clip, shot previously, of Miles singing for his baby brother, showing that the two have already started to bond. Ginger posted the video, which sees Adrian leaning over Miles while singing True Colors, on her own Instagram account earlier this week, writing: ‘My heart is exploding.’

As for Ben, he jokingly called himself ‘pointless’ in the wake of the new addition to his family.
‘I am an ankle-rubber and a chef,’ he said during the phone call. ‘I make a lot of pasta and I rub a lot of backs and ankles. That’s it.’
The proud father also pointed out that Adrian and Miles were wearing coordinated T-shirts, with Adrian’s outfit reading ‘Biggie’ while Miles’ stated ‘Smalls’.
Ginger, who has in the past opened up about her struggles with depression, opened up about her emotions as a new mother of two.
‘It was just as everybody said,’ he said. ‘The minute he came out, I was crazy about him and now I’m just as crazy about him.’
The phone call took a bit of an unexpected turn when Adrian hit his head in the background while his mother was talking. Luckily, he wasn’t hurt, but Ginger remarked: ‘This is real life!’

‘This is pure joy,’ Ginger captioned the image, which shows Miles sleeping on her chest while Adrian is giving him a quick squeeze.
While posting another black and white photo of little Miles’ hand, Ginger revealed that he weighed 8lbs, 7oz and was 21.5 inches long at the time of his birth.
In another photo, Ginger is kissing her baby boy on the head while he is swaddled in a hospital blanket.
And she isn’t the only one who can’t get enough of her son. Ben also took to Instagram to share photos and videos of little Miles.

Ginger initially announced Miles’ birth on Twitter =while sharing an adorable photo of Adrian wearing hospital scrubs that have the words ‘Big Brother’ written on the front.
‘Scrubbed in, delivered a healthy baby boy and got a cookie to celebrate. It’s been a good day,’ she wrote.
On Thursday, just one day before she gave birth via C-section, Ginger walked the runway for at the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women’s Red Dress Collection show.

The soon-to-be mother of two strut down the catwalk in a form-fitting red gown that hugged her baby bump.
Ginger, who had her C-section scheduled for the next day, spoke with Us Weekly backstage, saying: ‘My ankles are so swollen. You know what? I’ll put on some heels and I’ll walk a runway because that’ll make me feel better.’
The ABC News meteorologist first shared the news that she and Ben were expecting their second child in August during a morning forecast on Good Morning America.
After announcing that she was expecting a baby boy, Ginger hugged her co-stars and explained that she had to tell everyone because she had five months left before her due date and was already starting to show.
