A ninth grade student says she was forced to have sex with three different boys – one of whom is HIV positive – in a bathroom at her high school.
The 14-year-old girl, who has not revealed her identity, said that she was anally raped and forced into performing oral sex while in a bathroom at Miami Carol City Senior High School in Miami Gardens, Florida.
The girl told WSVN that the first boy, a fellow student who has not been named, ‘grabbed me by the sweater’ and wouldn’t let her leave the bathroom. He then anally raped her.

After the girl reported the incidents, the school district suspended the boys and the girl herself
News of what happened to her then spread around the school. The girl said that she started being approached by other ninth graders.
The third time she was approached, she said, occurred after school hours, when she was supposed to stay late for math tutoring. A fellow student asked her to go with him to the bathroom.
Once inside the bathroom, the girl said that that she was forced to perform oral sex on the boys who where there.
The girl said that she told a teacher about the incidents in October, writing in a student statement that the boy ‘grabbed me tightly by my hand, and he got me into the boys’ bathroom … I couldn’t breathe. I [was] choking and crying.’
In response, the school district suspended the three boys involved in the incident as well as the girl herself.
All three of the alleged assaults took place at Miami Carol City Senior High School in Florida
The school suspended the girl, allegedly claiming that the incidents were consensual because the girl did not ‘scream or run away’ when the supposed assaults occured
The girl’s mother told the WSVN reporter that even though the girl had written that she was choking and crying during the encounter, the school still ‘called it consensual and noted she didn’t scream or run away.’
The school district told WSVN that ‘School district administrators in conjunction with Miami-Dade Schools Police are thoroughly investigating this case thoroughly, and it continues to be an active investigation. Information regarding the case has been provided to the State Attorney’s Office as well as the Department of Children and Families (DCF).’
After the girl’s report was made, however, the girl’s mother said that an investigator arrived at her house to tell her that one of the three boys who allegedly assaulted her daughter was HIV-positive and that one of the boys has gonorrhea.
Although the girl has started a medication regimen, the girl’s mother said that it will be a year before doctors are able to determine if the teen contracted HIV from the boy who allegedly assaulted her.
‘She’s only 14 years old,’ the mother said. ‘How do you explain to your 14-year-old that she’s gonna have something that she can’t get a cure for?’
The girl said that she is currently getting therapy and that she has bouts of being unable to sleep at night. Despite this, she is said to be having a difficult time convincing the school district to all her to transfer to a different high school.
‘I really hope this doesn’t happen to any other girl. This shouldn’t happen to any other girl or boy,’ the girl said.
The school district noted that the State Attorney’s office will decide whether or not to press charges.
