Gold Coast man watches CCTV from his phone as burglars raid his home

Four men unknowingly had their alleged robbery broadcast live to the owner of security equipment they stole, which also filmed them later allegedly doing drugs.

The owner of the property from which the goods were stolen, on the Gold Coast, received a phone alert from cameras installed at his under-construction home.

Police alleged they took surveillance cameras, solar panels and a modem from the Helensvale site about 4.20pm on June 30, before moving to another address and consuming drugs.
