Gorilla ‘swears’ at onlookers at Apeldoorn Monkey Park in Holland

This is the moment a grumpy gorilla appeared to swear at onlookers while sitting in his enclosure in a Dutch zoo.

The moody-looking ape used his left hand to give visitors the middle finger at  Apeldoorn Monkey Park in Holland.

His rude gesture was captured by 65-year-old German photographer Ingo Gerlach, who was visiting the zoo. 

The graphic designer said: ‘The male gorilla was relatively bored, although there was quite a lot of action around him. The other gorillas were very lively, but this did not disturb the silverback. He was cool.’
