Grant Denyer looks glum as wife is to undergo surgery

His wife Chezzi revealed to her blog last week, that she’s to undergo surgery, just weeks before Christmas, for debilitating migraines.

And following the news, Grant Denyer was pictured looking downcast on a stroll in Queensland’s the Gold Coast.

The 40-year-old Family Feud host in a smart ensemble, kept his head bowed for most of the sighting.

Grant walked along the side of the road, holding onto a large umbrella in one hand.

The Channel Seven personality sported a crisp white dress shirt, tucked into a pair of slim-fitting tan trousers.

Grant accessorised with tan leather dress shoes, a navy suit jacket, a silver statement watch, a pocket square and sunglasses hooked onto the neckline of his shirt.

Not his usual energetic self, the presenter looked to have a lot on his mind and kept his head bowed. 

The sighting comes as wife Chezzi revealed to her blog last week, that she’s to undergo surgery, just weeks before Christmas, for debilitating migraines.   

‘I am left really struggling to just get through my everyday life,’ the 38-year-old candidly shared with her online fans.

Chezzi began: ‘The week of my birthday earlier this month (November), I was sent to hospital with a severe migraine pain in my left hand side of my head. I’ve not experienced anything like it and thought it was caused by me detoxing?’ 

With her surgery scheduled for December 6, the media personality went on to describe the debilitating condition.

‘In the interim, I am left really struggling to just get through my everyday life. Some days are worse than others. Some days I have such severe vertigo that I nearly fall over if I get up too quickly or if I move my head in a certain way.’

Chezzi is relying on the support of her beloved husband Grant, to get her through such challenging times.  

‘My beautiful and loving husband is my tower of strength and I’ve been depending on him so much lately.’   

Chezzi, a Jeans for Genes ambassador, married Grant, 40, in 2010, and the couple share two daughters, Sailor, six, and Scout, two.

Living on a 27 acre farm just outside of Bathurst, the family could welcome another child in the near future.

Speaking to TV WEEK magazine in September, Chezzi revealed that Grant would love a son.   

‘He’d love a little boy running around the house. Grant’s an amazing dad, and we’ve spoken about it, so who knows.’
