Hi-5 star Charli Robinson reveals she is expecting her first child

 Former Hi-5 star Charli Robinson is pregnant with her first child.   

The 37-year old is expecting a baby girl with her partner of two years, millionaire racing car driver, Liam Talbot.   

The happy couple announced their exciting news in an interview with New Idea magazine, saying they were completely ‘surprised’.

‘It was surprising and exciting all rolled into one,’ Charli told the publication.  

The blonde beauty, who is now a presenter on popular Channel Nine travel program Getaway, suffered a silent miscarriage earlier on in the couple’s relationship.  

‘It was quite a shock to find out we were pregnant and then find out it wasn’t a viable pregnancy,’ she said.

‘It made us ready to be parents,’ she added. 

Charli and Liam have been dating since 2016, after the children’s entertainer split with her boyfriend of of six years, Justin Kirkpatrick. 

Liam’s father is Ken Talbot, a billionaire mining magnate who tragically died at the age of 59 in a plane crash in the Congo.  

Charli and Liam first spoke about their relationship to the Gold Coast Bulletin in 2016.

‘I was raised to be a car racing fan, so now it’s like I’ve met the man of my dreams,’ Charli said.

‘Now watching, knowing the person you care about is behind the wheel, makes it even more exciting and nerve-racking,’ she added.

‘I love seeing her smile — it’s an unbelievable smile,’ Liam added in the interview. 

The happy couple will welcome their their first child in January next year.
