A homeless man made off with €300,000 after stumbling through an unlocked cash depot door as he rummaged through bins at a Paris airport.
The unidentified man was in the French capital’s Charles de Gaulle terminal when he walked into the Loomis office.
He found it led to a compartment containing two bags filled with money and CCTV footage then shows him wandering off with the huge haul.

An investigator called it ‘the perfect crime’ and said police still ‘don’t know why the door was open at the time.’
‘At first we thought it had to be a setup, but it looks like it was just luck. It’s incredible,’ a police source told AFP, asking not to be identified by name.
Investigators are searching for the suspect, who is believed to be in his fifties and has been identified by airport police.

Security camera footage is believed to show the man rifling through rubbish at terminal 2F of France’s biggest airport terminal.
The heist first came to the attention of police when an alarm sounded at 5.30pm on Friday.
When officers arrived they found the money gone and the depot door open in what Le Parisien described as a massive ‘blooper’.
