House star star Chiara Clarson has revealed she lost nearly half her body weight, shedding more than 50 kilos in a dramatic transformation.
The outspoken reality star, who underwent gastric sleeve surgery five-years-ago, confessed to struggling with her weight her entire life.
Speaking to New Idea magazine on Monday, the Perth-based hairdresser admitted she once tipped the scales at 114 kilograms.

‘I got to the point where I couldn’t do it anymore,’ the 32-year-old told the publication.
‘My highest weight when I was pregnant was 114 kilos … When I had surgery, I dropped more than 50 kilos and I got to 60.9 kilos.’
The mother-of-two said she just didn’t want weight to be an issue her entire life.

‘I didn’t want it to consume my life anymore,’ she explained, admitting that she was ‘comfort eating.’
And the novice Western Australia home renovator wasn’t the only one to undergo a transformation, with husband David also losing a whopping 25 kilograms.
David admitted that the pair had tried all kinds of fad diets including ‘diet shakes’, before going down the costly and complicated path of surgery.

The couple, who were in more than $20,000 credit card debt, opted to use money from Chiara’s superannuation.
On the way it changed her life, Chiara said she would have never had the confidence to appear on House Rules had she not taken stock of her weight struggle.
