Huma Abedin made $65K in the months AFTER Hillary’s loss

Huma Abedin has gone high fashion and high society, with the Hillary Clinton aide enjoying a weekend in the Hamptons just days after she was featured in the September issue of ‘W.’

A single and ready to mingle Abedin, 41, was spotted on Sunday at the Southampton home of Moda Operandi founder Lauren Santo Domingo and her music executive husband Andres.

Lauren and Andres, whose father is billionaire Colombian business magnate Julio, were hosting their annual all-white Badminton tournament at the estate this weekend, which they scooped up for a reported $30 million.

The couple split their time between that residence, an apartment in Paris and their $18.5million townhouse on Gramercy Park in New York City.

And while Abedin certainly does not have that kind of money, she still seems to be doing just fine in the wake of her boss’ defeat last November, with the latest quarterly filings from the Hillary for America campaign revealing that the aide has received $64,369.94 in payroll checks issued after the election.

A sizable chunk of that money came in November, when Abedin received four checks totaling over $13,688.48 that month.

Aid for the aide: It was also revealed in new quarterly filings from Hillary for America that Abedin is still getting paid by the campaign and has made $65k since November (Clinton and Abedin in June 2016 on the campaign trail above)

Abedin is one of a handful of Clinton employees still on the payroll according to the forms submitted by the campaign to the Federal Election Commission filings.

The check she is receiving however has been decreasing over time however, with the aide being paid on the first and fifteenth of every month.

She was receiving a check for $4,929.58 twice a month in November and December, but that decreased to $4,764.69 for January, February and March.

In April, her checks were for $3,927.85 and this past  May and June she has received $1,094.68 from the campaign.

It is unclear if this is her only payment from Clinton of if the former Secretary of State is not paying her out-of-pocket in the wake of the election.

The Clinton campaign is also forking over $60 each month for the phones of Abedin and other remaining employees.

That money was put to good use on Saturday in the Hamptons, as Abedin came dressed to pose and not play at the badminton bash.

She showed off the look in a photo with society seamstress Tory Burch, Proenza Schouler designer Lazaro Hernandez, ‘W’ stylist (and daughter of CBS head Les) Sara Moonves, Blasberg’s venture capitalist boyfriend Nick Brown and fashion blogger Colby Mugrabi.

It was a big weekend for Mugrabi, 24, who was also celebrating her anniversary with art scion husband, 47-year-old Alberto ‘Tico’ Mugrabi.

The two were married last August in front of 600 guests including the Olsen twins, Karlie Kloss and Heidi Klum.

That $5million ceremony, which required guest to wear an ID card at all time, took place at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes.

Abedin does not seem in a rush to walk down the aisle again in the wake of her tempestuous relationship with her ex, who was spotted last week dropping their son Jordan off at summer camp.

That freed Abedin up for a weekend away in the Hamptons, and a few days prior she enjoyed a night out at the New York City premiere of the film ‘Crown heights.’

Abedin was escorted to that event by former football star Nnamdi Asomugha, who stars in the film.

Absent from the event however was Asomugha’s wife Kerry Washington as the pair have made a point of never appearing in public together at industry events.

Abedin filed for divorce from Weiner in May and she could soon be granted sole custody of son Jordan, with her estranged husband facing possible jail time.

Weiner is looking at up to 27 months in prison after pleading guilty in May to transferring obscene material to a minor.

While the sentencing for such a crime can be up to ten years in prison, Weiner is likely to face far less because of the plea deal he took earlier this year.

It is unclear what Abedin’s next career move may be, and the former gild child of the Clinton campaign seems to have fallen out of favor with some Hillary supporters following her behavior after the election.

‘Maybe I’m just pissed off, but I really don’t give a s*** about what happens to Huma Abedin to be honest with you,’ one Clinton adviser told Vanity Fair back in December.

That person then added that they took issue with Abedin appearing on the rope line alongside Clinton when she greeted disappointed supporters after conceding the election to Trump.

‘You’re staff, O.K.? Staff is staff. You’re not a principal.’

Another Clinton insider also seemed to suggest that Abedin was getting a little too comfortable with the limelight.

‘She was enjoying the red carpet and enjoying the photo spreads much too much in my opinion,’ said the insider.

‘She enjoyed being a celebrity too much.’

Abedin was often photographed at Clinton events, took selfies with supporters and was also featured in Vogue.

Now she is in ‘W,’ appearing in a spread devoted to new Oscar de la Renta designers Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, who previously worked for the fashion house before its eponymous founder’s death.

She poses alongside Princess Olympia of Greece, Nicky Hilton, Thandie Newton Zoe Kravitz, Carolyn Murphy and Sasha Pivovarova in the spread, to name a few.

In the accompanying article, Abedin recalled being there the day the designers told de la Renta that they were leaving his label to start their own. She’d been stopping by with Clinton, and turned up just a half hour after Kim and Garcia broke the news.

‘I just remember seeing Laura in the corner crying, with Fernando consoling her,’ she said. ‘And Oscar telling us, “Can you believe it?! These young people are leaving me!”‘
