They added: ‘The celebrities lose the weight because they are eating healthy organic vegetables and meat, the body readily absorbs this so they make sure the meat is heavy in protein and the fruit and veg heavy in minerals, vitamins and glucose.’

Campmates are thought to lose an average of ’11 pounds’ each a series.

Toff’s incredible weight loss came amid reports that media watchdog Ofcom have received 300 complaints around the so-called ‘bullying’ of campmate Iain Lee.

Viewers admitted being unable to watch scenes which saw Amir Khan, Jamie Lomas and Dennis Wise make a series of ‘jokes’ and comments about the radio presenter, which Iain admitted made him feel ‘uncomfortable.’

Dramatic: Dennis Wise and Amir Khan were at the centre of the ‘bullying’ controversy this year, after viewers accused the pair of making unacceptable jokes at Iain’s expense

After Thursday’s episode, which saw Dennis voted out of the jungle, Ofcom received 207 complaints, more than double the amount received for the rest of the series combined.

A spokesperson for Ofcom told The Sun it is accessing the complaints and will decide in the coming weeks whether to investigate things further.

Amir and Iain came to blows again during Thursday’s show after campmate Stanley Johnson’s departure, with the boxer telling the star that he had ‘f**ked things up’ on his late arrival into the jungle and ‘split the group up’.

He also commented on Iain’s attitude, insisting that he had ‘killed’ the group with his demanding orders as Prime Minister of camp, but growing irked by Amir’s constant teasing, Iain hit back: ‘Amir was being an a**hole, just prodding me and making all these jokes, it wasn’t funny, it made me feel uncomfortable.’

Evictee Dennis, meanwhile, has said he was ‘shocked’ to learn of the accusations and insisted he and Iain are friends – claiming he would buy football tickets for Iain and his children to see Chelsea as a way of patching things up.

‘I was shocked to be honest when I actually saw all that,’ he said on Good Morning Britain on Friday after his jungle exit.

‘We’ve got on very well and it’s really interesting because I think ITV wouldn’t allow [bullying] anyway. It’s something I don’t think they’d ever allow.’
