‘I saw this amazing cubby house in America based on a Hamptons style home but it cost $20,000,’ Schye said.

‘You couldn’t get anything like it here in Australia so my husband Michael, who used to be a builder, said he would do his best to put something together himself.

‘He started it in October and built it from scratch with no plans. We couldn’t find anything that had completed walls inside anything like the one saw in America.’

Michael did all the electricals himself while Schye painted the inside and outside.

‘The majority of our materials came from Bunnings Noosa and we ordered the roofing from Brisbane,’ Schye said.

‘The chandelier I sourced wholesale online –  I’m a pretty savvy internet shopper so what we couldn’t find local in Noosa, we ordered in.’

‘So many cubbies you see around look great on the outside but are just plain and wooden on the inside so it was important to us that it was just as beautiful if not better on the inside.

‘I wanted it to look Instagram-worthy and just be a beautiful mini home and I think that’s just how the palace turned out.’

The finished result was a three-metre squared creation complete with an inbuilt 50 inch TV with Netflix and a DVD player, a crystal chandelier and entry way down lights.

It also features a wall papered feature wall, a baby grand piano, asphalt shingle roofing, a feature gable window and a mini make up vanity.

‘It truly is the cubby of every child’s dreams – Millie-Belle is so lucky but she also knows how lucky she is,’ Schye said.

‘It is a palace fit for a queen and she absolutely loves it.’

Speaking to FEMAIL previously, Schye said she originally set up Millie-Belle’s Instagram account when she was two months old so their family could keep up with what they were doing each day.

And after she started gaining fans, fashion labels and children’s brands began gifting Millie-Belle with their latest designer products and she started earning up to $250 per post for wearing their garbs in pictures.

In 2017, Millie-Belle made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week for Little Miss Aoki.

‘We have worked with Winnie [the founder of Mischka Aoki] before and Millie-Belle wore a dress from the brand for her first red carpet appearance in 2016,’ Schye said ahead of the show.

‘We developed a relationship with her and we got asked to fly Millie-Belle over to walk in her first show. It will be her first time on the runway but she’s a bit of a show off so she’s going to love it.’

Schye described it as a ‘luxe line for babies’ as well as a line suited to ‘the niche market for mums and bubs matching fashion’.

‘We are still working on the label and coming up with fun new ideas but at the moment we are just focusing more on working with a select number of designers overseas,’ Schye said.
