Jack P Shepherd ‘signs Corrie deal worth £220k’

Jack P Shepherd has reportedly signed on the dotted line on a contract that secures his place on Coronation Street til the end of 2018, adding a hefty £20k extra to his annual salary.

The Sun has revealed that he will now take home £220k a year, making him, at age 29, the highest paid actor on the soap amongst the cast’s younger stars.

He allegedly earns a whopping £70,000 more than the likes of co-stars Simon Gregson, 42, and Kym Marsh, 41.

Hitting the jackpot! Jack P Shepherd ‘renews Coronation Street contract until Christmas 2018 in deal worth £220k’ that will see his character David Platt involved in ‘explosive new scenes’

The Sun, who don’t state their source, claims that ‘bosses have promised the actor some sensational story-lines over the next year’ – a factor that supposedly cemented Jack’s deal.

MailOnline has contacted Coronation Street for comment.
