Jen Hawke claims the 2017 Bachelor contestants had poor facilities

The 2018 Bachelor girls have made their debut after photos showed them on the balconies of their accommodation for lock down.

But it seems the simple benefit of having a balcony and the ability to mingle with the other contestants has had a few women from last year’s batch very annoyed.

Bachelor ‘villain’ Jen Hawke reshared a post made by co-star Michelle Paxton unimpressed of the pictures published by Daily Mail Australia showing the new group of women on balconies and chatting with their neighbour during lock down.

The 32-year-old Adelaide-based police officer took to her Instagram story to vent her frustration, sharing a screenshot along with a caption comparing their three-day lock down.

In the original post, made by Michelle, she claimed: ‘2017 Bachelor girls: Two bedded hotel room, no tv or electronics, no leaving the room, no excersise, no mingling… no nothing!’

She continued: ‘2018 Bachelor girls: balcony’s – sunshine – mingling while in lock down…’, along with the rude finger emoji.

Jen shared her sentiments who re-posted the same post, along with an angry face emoji.

Fellow Bachelor reject Laura Ann Rullo was also unimpressed to see the newer contestants appearing to be treated much better than their group.

The criminal lawyer, 27, took to her Instagram story to share a similar post, and the caption: ‘They got a balcony… window… now that’s unfair!!!’

After weeks of speculation, Channel 10 has revealed the 2018 Bachelor as Rugby union player Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins, 30.

The announcement by The Bachelor account came minutes after Ten’s The Project broke the news on social.

The news show revealed: ‘You heard that right, we can confirm that your 2018 #TheBachelorAU is @nckcmmns!’
