According to Deadline, Jennifer plays Riley North, a mother who seeks justice after her husband and daughter are brutally murdered.
Her character seeks out those whom she feels are responsible, including the gang who committed the drive-by, their lawyers and corrupt cops.
The drama is set to hit theaters sometime next year.

In addition to Peppermint, Jennifer has three films in the works.
She will voice a character in the TV series, Llama Llama and the animated film, Amusement Park.
She will also player a mother named Emily Spier in the teen drama, Love, Simon.
